Rights, and the left, and logic

Fox News posts this today by John Lott:  Look at the title

I’d be willing to wager if this said “Is banning newspapers a reasonable restriction of first amendment rights?”  or “Is banning books by Richard Dawkins a reasonable restriction?” the answer would be a resounding NO.

Bans are never reasonable restrictions.  Bans, on anything, say “we can’t trust ANYONE to have this” without government oversight.  Frankly, it’s the government oversight that scares the crap out of me.  I’ve seen way too much of it.
