Ain’t she smart?

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa — Hillary Rodham Clinton said Saturday that if she is elected president, she would make her husband a roaming ambassador to the world, using his skills to repair the nation’s tattered image abroad.

Surely I can’t be the only one thinking “that’s one way to avoid having to live with him, or having him live in the White House again.”

I got to thinking about this again as I read this week’s papers.  Many weeks I don’t get to read them until the weekend, and then I go through a week’s worth of newsprint.  Notice I didn’t say “news”.  The Post seems to think Hillary is the only candidate in the race.  I’d love to have kept track of how many inches of newsprint she gets compared to the other candidates.

I noted also that she’s the only candidate consistently referred to by first name.  That’s probably because she’s trying to sway those first-time voters too young to remember what a dipwad her husband was.  Or maybe it’s to make her human.   Since I have yet to read a thing about her that makes me even want to like her – from the way she treated military folk in her previous life in the white house to the way she tried to smear Obama with a “been running for president since entering congress” mentality to the way she wants to penalize all those with the talent, foresight, and willingness to work for themselves, I can’t imagine people really want this type of leader.

But then, they’ve voted for other creeps, too.  Al Gore comes to mind.

Another post, another time, about the models he used in his junk science prize.
