I used to think Jim Webb was the most arrogant politician aside from Hillary.   He’s not even in the running any more.

Take the day off because I can’t win if you go to work?????

This reinforces my belief that the Obama camp worked very hard over the past two years to woo voters who are naive enough to be easily swayed (high-schoolers, young graduates, first-time voters from the immigrant and less academic ranks).  He knew that the American electorate most of us know wouldn’t elect him because of his socialist platforms, his elitism, or his inexperience, so he had to go for the unknown.

Seems like the theme is “I’m inexperienced, so I’ll go for those voters who don’t recognize the limitations of inexperience, and have THEM elect me.”   But with the economy dropping like a rock, the LAST thing many of these folks need is a day off – for many of them it would be UNPAID – to essentially give a day’s pay to Obama.  Now THAT’s the height of arrogance.

Oh, by the way, he’ll do a 30-minute infomercial, since it’s scripted, but his campaign won’t allow interviews if he doesn’t like the questions.  Vindictively, even:

“This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election,” wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign,

Anybody with me in hoping there comes some important statement he wants made in Florida between now and Tuesday, they tell him to stuff it?
